Balconies and apartments
- Check lease, building and HOA rules first.
- Choose lighted pieces without a blower where floor space is tight.
- Don't block exits, stairs or railings; secure anything that could blow off.
Small yards
- Measure the spot, including room behind an inflatable for its fan.
- Keep sidewalks and driveways clear.
- Stake and tether every point provided.
Power
Use outdoor-rated extension cords and GFCI-protected outlets. Battery and solar pieces are listed as such when the maker's listing says so.
